Rhino Sports & Leisure (Rhino Rugby USA) was the North American licensee of the internationally recognized Rhino Rugby brand, supplying custom team apparel, equipment, and training products to clubs, schools, and elite athletes across the Americas.
Over 12 years with the company, culminating as Chief Marketing Officer, I led brand strategy, marketing, creative direction, and e-commerce operations. My role combined leadership and hands-on execution—developing campaigns, designing products and apparel, managing the Shopify storefront, and building the visual systems that supported the brand’s growth.
In addition to marketing and creative direction, I oversaw custom apparel design from concept through production, including tech packs, factory approvals, and quality control. At times I personally designed uniforms and apparel; at other times I led and mentored a design team while ensuring consistent brand standards.
Beyond design and marketing, I also contributed to business operations and strategic planning, helping guide Rhino Rugby’s growth from a startup concept into a $1.5M/year brand serving teams across North America.
Broadcast Commercial Video
The video below was produced in collaboration with a professional videography team. I organized shoots, coordinated participating teams, and oversaw production. It aired nationally on NBC, NBC Sports, Fox Sports, FS2, and during major rugby events including the USA Sevens Championship, Collegiate Rugby Championship, and Major League Rugby games.

Custom Team Uniforms
The following uniforms were designed directly by me or under my guidance. These officially licensed collegiate rugby uniforms—including Army, Navy, Wisconsin, Temple, Delaware, and Virginia Tech—demonstrate the range of team designs and quality oversight I provided.

Major League Rugby
I helped secure and activate Rhino Rugby’s league-wide partnership as Official Ball and Equipment Supplier to Major League Rugby from 2020–2024, resulting in premium brand exposure and driving league-wide product adoption and merchandise programs.
I led the design and development of custom match balls, replica merchandise, field goal posts, and branded field flags, ensuring consistent brand presence across all live match play and league-produced media.
This partnership allowed Rhino Rugby to extend its reach to elite-level competition, strengthen brand credibility, and generate new revenue opportunities through merchandise and equipment programs. I oversaw all aspects of creative direction, production approvals, and collaboration with league media teams to ensure every asset aligned with Rhino’s brand strategy and marketing objectives.
